As a builder, what excites me is to work with a player and find out all of their needs and interests; including wood combinations, tone, comfort, and style. I hope to create an instrument that when in the player's hands it will inspire them to go further. As a builder I have found that my customers become such a part of the process, and filled with excitement that when it is finally completed the joy of holding and playing the guitar ignites the spark of musical inspiration. It is this experience that keeps me motivated as a builder.

It is my goal to produce and keep in mind all of the elements that make an instrument musical; including it's overtones, clarity balance, sustain, vibration, volume and projection. Of course working one on one with my customers, we will analyze wood combinations and body styles to produce the desired tone one is looking for.
